How to Choose a FIFA Agent Exam Prep Course (2027)

Updated 2026-08-27

Short answer

FIFA does not organise, endorse or approve any preparation course — its own study materials are the only official reference. So the choice is not between an approved course and the rest: it is between providers who can show how their questions are built, and providers who cannot.

Start with what FIFA actually says

FIFA states plainly that it neither organises nor endorses preparatory courses, and that the FIFA Football Agent Exam Study Materials should be considered the only source for candidates' preparation.

Any provider claiming to be official, approved or partnered with FIFA is making a claim FIFA itself contradicts. That single check eliminates a surprising number of options.

One session per year, 20 questions in 60 minutes, 15 correct to pass. The pass rate fell from 52% in 2023 to 18% in 2025 — which is why preparation is worth paying for, and why the claim of a guaranteed pass is worth nothing.

The six questions to ask before you pay

These are the questions a provider can only answer well if the product is real. Ask them by email before buying; the reply tells you more than the sales page.

What to ask, and what a good answer looks like
QuestionWhat a good answer contains
Where does each question come from?A named article in a named FIFA text, shown next to the answer — not "based on the regulations".
How many questions, and across how many subjects?A number you can check, and coverage of all 10 exam subjects rather than the two or three that are easy to write.
Can I try it before paying?A free sample large enough to judge — a full mock exam, not three teaser questions.
What happens when the regulations change?A dated update process. The FFAR has been partly suspended since December 2023 and the RSTP reform lands in 2027.
In what language will I sit the exam? The exam is offered in English, French and Spanish. Preparing in a fourth language is a handicap you choose.
What exactly am I committing to?A price, a duration, and a cancellation path stated before checkout.

The main options on the market

Naming them is more useful than ranking them: the right one depends on whether you want a taught course, a question bank, or both.

Taught programmes with a live component: Sports Management Worldwide, Sports Law Hub, Johan Cruyff Institute, SBI Barcelona. Expect a schedule, a cohort and a higher price.

Question banks and self-paced platforms: The Ball Business, SportsAgent Institute, FootAgentExam, AgentPro Academy. Expect to work alone, at your own pace, for less.

We build one of them, so treat this page accordingly — and check the numbers below yourself rather than take our word for them.

What we publish about ourselves

AgentPro Academy is an independent platform, not affiliated with FIFA. 4,737 questions across the 13 subjects we cover, of which the 10 on the exam syllabus; every answer cites the article it comes from. 331 course sheets, timed mock exams, an audio podcast, and a tutor that answers from the official text.

Five languages: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Chinese. Pricing is public: a free Discovery tier, €79/month committed until the session, €99/month cancel-anytime, or €599 once for twelve months.

The free mock exam is the honest way to judge all of that: 20 questions, the real format, no sign-up. If it is not better than what you can find elsewhere, you will know in twenty minutes and it will have cost you nothing.

Frequently asked questions

Is any FIFA agent exam course officially approved?

No. FIFA states it does not organise or endorse any preparatory course, and that its own study materials are the only official source. Treat any claim of official status as a reason to look elsewhere.

Do I need a paid course to pass?

No. The official material is free to download and is the reference the exam is written from. A paid course buys structure, practice questions and time — not access.

How much should a prep course cost?

Published prices in this market range from roughly a few hundred euros for a self-paced question bank to several thousand for a taught programme with live sessions. What matters more than the number is whether the price, the duration and the cancellation terms are stated before you pay.

What is the single best way to compare two providers?

Take a free mock exam on each and read the explanations. A provider that cites the exact article behind every answer is showing you its method; one that explains in general terms is asking you to trust it.

Preparing for the 2027 session? AgentPro Academy covers the 13 subjects of the official syllabus with 4,019 questions linked to their source article in FIFA's material.
