01

FIFA Agent Exam Dates 2027: Registration Window & Timeline

The FIFA agent exam runs once a year. The 2026 session is over (held 28–30 April 2026, results published 4 June 2026); the next opportunity is the 2027 edition, with registration expected to open around January 2027.

02

FIFA Agent Exam Format: 20 Questions, 60 Minutes, Open Book

The FIFA agent exam is 20 multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes, pass mark 75% (15/20). It's open book — but only the official FIFA documents inside the exam interface; no notes, no search engines. It's remotely proctored with two devices.

03

FIFA Agent Exam Pass Rate: From 52% to 18% (2023–2025)

The FIFA agent exam pass rate has collapsed: 52% at the first exam in 2023, 40.4% across 2024, and just 18% in 2025. Fewer than one in five candidates now pass.

04

FIFA Agent Exam & Licence Cost 2027: USD 600 + 300/year

You pay the exam fee to FIFA, not to your federation, and FIFA only reveals the amount on its Agent Platform, before you submit your application — member associations may not charge anything in relation to the exam. What is fixed and published is the licence: USD 600 within 90 days of passing, then USD 300 a year.

Failed the FIFA Agent Exam? What Happens Next

The FIFA agent exam runs once a year, so if you fail, your next attempt is the following year's session. There's no cap on retakes, but you re-register and pay the exam fee again.

FIFA Agent Exam Day: Readiness Check & Proctoring

Before the exam you must pass a mandatory Pre-Exam Readiness Check. On the day, it's remotely proctored with two devices (computer + smartphone camera): 20 questions, 60 minutes, open book limited to the official FIFA documents in the interface.

Open Book Doesn't Mean Easy: FIFA Agent Exam Strategy

The exam is open book, but you only get the official FIFA documents (~800 pages) inside the interface and 60 minutes for 20 questions — about 3 minutes each. You can't read 800 pages live; you must know the material and use the documents only to confirm exact articles.

Are the FIFA Football Agent Regulations Still in Force? (2026)

Parts of the FIFA Football Agent Regulations (FFAR) have been suspended worldwide since FIFA Circular 1873 (30 December 2023), and the CJEU judgments of 9 and 16 July 2026 did not reinstate them. The exam and the licence requirement remain fully in force; the suspended parts are the service fee cap and a list of service-fee, double-representation, reporting, publication and submission rules.

How to Choose a FIFA Agent Exam Prep Course (2027)

FIFA does not organise, endorse or approve any preparation course — its own study materials are the only official reference. So the choice is not between an approved course and the rest: it is between providers who can show how their questions are built, and providers who cannot.

FIFA Agent Course: What It Must Cover (the Exam's 13 Subjects)

FIFA neither offers nor endorses any preparation course: the official reference is the study material published for the exam. A serious course covers the 13 subjects of that material — from the Statutes to the Agent Regulations — and trains the real format: 20 questions, 60 minutes, 15 correct to pass.
