Juventus fined over fans' behaviour during Mazzola tribute
Juventus were fined 10,000 euros after a section of their supporters failed to observe the minute of silence held in memory of Inter Milan and Italy legend Sandro Mazzola. The penalty was reduced because the club distanced itself quickly and publicly from the behaviour.
UEFA sanctions Guendouzi and a Lyon goalkeeping coach after the Fenerbahce brawl
UEFA has handed down its rulings over the incidents that marred the Lyon–Fenerbahce Champions League play-off return leg on 26 August. Matteo Guendouzi received a four-match ban (two suspended) and a 50,000-euro fine, while Lyon's goalkeeping coach Antonio Ferreira was banned for five matches for "serious assault".
World Cup 2026: Sanctions Against Argentine Players and the FIFA Disciplinary Code
FIFA's Disciplinary Committee suspended Leandro Paredes for ten matches and fined him 90,000 dollars over the post-match incidents at the 2026 World Cup final. Several Argentine team-mates, a staff member and the AFA were also sanctioned.

Article 19 of the RSTP bans international transfers of under-18s, and what counts is the change of association — not the passport. Since Brexit the EU/EEA exception no longer covers an EU-to-England move: Aston Villa signed Brian Madjo in January 2026, could not register him until August, and left him roughly eight months without a match.
PSG Walked Away From Zion Suzuki Over Agent Fees: Which Cap Actually Applied?
PSG pulled out of Zion Suzuki's transfer on 15 August 2026 over agent commission — but FIFA's fee cap is not what blocked it: Article 15 FFAR has been suspended worldwide since 30 December 2023. The ceiling still binding in France is Article L222-17 of the Code du sport: 10% of the contract, all agents combined.
